Minimizer launched in 2016 with one idea: let people use YouTube alongside everything else on their phone, the way they can on a computer. More than a million people downloaded it. Version 10, released on its tenth anniversary, is a complete rebuild, native, fast, and finally built on foundations that can carry the next ten years.

WHAT IT DOES

• Floating window: keep YouTube in a small window (picture-in-picture) over any app. Move it and resize it freely.

• Ghost mode: make the video semi-transparent while interacting with the app underneath it.

• Music mode: a simpler, stripped-back way to listen to YouTube.

• Sleep timer: stop after a set time, or at the end of what you're watching.

• Playlists: browse and play your playlists, and save anything to any of them from anywhere in the app.

• Search, comments, watch history, subscriptions: the YouTube features you use every day, rebuilt natively for Minimizer.

EVERY USER GETS THE WHOLE APP

There is no premium version and no locked features. There never has been and there never will be.

Minimizer is free and supported by ads. There is an optional subscription for anyone who wants to support its development, and as a thank-you it removes the ads. That is the entire difference.

Minimizer isn't made by a company. It's made by one developer in Greece who reads every support email and decides what to build next based on what users ask for.
