The app uses a foreground location service to enable real-time ride tracking for drivers. The service only runs when a driver is online, displays a persistent notification ("You are Online"), and stops immediately when the driver goes offline.

The foreground location service must remain running even if the driver locks their phone, because they cannot keep the app open during the ride. Without this, the customer would lose real-time tracking.
