CUT AND TRIM AUDIO

Choose a song and set the exact part you want to keep. Drag the handles on the waveform, zoom in for millisecond-level precision, or type the start and end times by hand. Fade in and fade out are one tap away, and the built-in player lets you listen to the clip before you save it.

MERGE AND MIX

Merge joins several tracks end to end, and you can reorder them until the sequence sounds right. Mix layers two or more tracks on top of each other, which is useful for putting background music behind a voice recording. The volume of each track can be adjusted separately.

CONVERT AUDIO FORMATS

Convert a file to MP3, AAC, WAV, M4A, OGG or FLAC when an app or a device only accepts one specific format. You choose the output format, the bitrate (64, 128, 192 or 256 kbps) and the volume, so you can shrink a file to save space or keep it at full quality.

VOICE CHANGER

Load a recording and hear yourself as someone or something else. Ready-made effects such as Robot and Concert change the character of a voice in one tap. If none of them is quite what you had in mind, build your own: the Frequency and Pitch sliders let you shape a voice from scratch, or start from a preset and adjust it until it sounds right.

SPLIT LONG FILES

Split a long recording, podcast or DJ set into separate tracks at the points you choose, instead of cutting out one piece at a time.

MAKE RINGTONES

Save any clip directly as your ringtone, alarm or notification sound. You can also give individual contacts their own ringtone, so you know who is calling before you look at the screen. Finished files stay in the Outputs folder, where you can rename them, edit them again or share them.

HOW TO MAKE A RINGTONE

1. Open the app and choose a song from your phone or SD card.

2. Drag the waveform to select the part you want to keep.

3. Set the title, format, bitrate and volume for the clip.

4. Save it as a ringtone, alarm or notification — or share it with a friend.
