Build your library

Organise books as To Read, Reading or Finished. Add a book by scanning its barcode, entering an ISBN, searching the book catalogue or entering the details yourself. Barcode and catalogue matches depend on available book data.

Log sessions with Chugs Pro

With Chugs Pro, start, pause, resume and end a reading timer, or manually add past sessions. After a timed session, the recap shows duration, progress and reading pace in minutes per page or minutes per location.

See recorded progress with Chugs Pro

With Chugs Pro, enter passages as Quotes and your own thoughts as Notes, with optional page numbers and tags. Review completed sessions by date in the Timeline. Use Overview to see statistics from activity recorded in Chugs, including time, progress, pace, streaks, daily reading-minute and yearly completed-book goals, and a reading activity heatmap. Monthly Overview summarises a selected month's recorded activity and books with sessions.

Keep a Pro session in view

Supported iOS widgets can show current-book progress, recent session data, streaks, weekly activity or a saved quote, depending on widget type. A Live Activity can keep a timed Pro session in view and provide supported pause, resume and end controls. Availability varies by device and OS.

Free and Pro

The free version includes library tracking. Chugs Pro unlocks the reading timer, manual session logging, Timeline, Overview, Quotes, Notes and Monthly Overview.

Subscriptions

Chugs Pro is available through auto-renewing monthly and yearly subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase. A subscription renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. Manage or cancel your subscription in App Store account settings. Restore Purchases is available in Chugs.
