ConvoyTalk is a dead-simple push-to-talk app for groups travelling together — road trips, 4WD convoys, caravans, motorbike groups, or any time you need to talk car-to-car. One big button: hold to talk, release to listen. Just like a UHF radio.

ConvoyTalk's local mode works with zero mobile reception and zero internet. One phone turns on its WiFi hotspot and taps Host; everyone else joins the hotspot and taps Join. That's the whole setup — no accounts, no sign-up, nothing to configure. Perfect for remote tracks, national parks, and anywhere the bars disappear.

Internet mode connects your group over mobile data using private channel names, with an optional PIN to keep your channel private. Browse active channels before joining, see who's on channel any time, and invite a mate with a tap-to-join link — no app required on their end.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Local hotspot mode is designed for close-range convoys: roughly 30–100 m line of sight between vehicles, ideal for slow trail driving, campsites, and touring in tight formation. For highway spacing, use Internet mode. Voice is streamed live and never recorded or stored.
