SHVR

SHVR App has been developed as part of the national Swachh Evam Harit Vidyalaya Rating (SHVR) initiative launched by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. This app serves as a digital platform for collecting structured data from schools across the country to assess their performance in six key thematic areas: Water, Toilets, Handwashing with Soap, Operation and Maintenance, Behavior Change and Capacity Building, and Mission LiFE activities.

Designed with an intuitive interface and multi-language support (Hindi and English), the app guides school authorities through a detailed, 60+ parameter self-assessment questionnaire. Each section has clear indicators to ensure accurate reporting and transparency. Schools can fill in the data at their convenience, review their responses, and submit them directly through the app. The app also includes features for helpdesk support, offline data entry (with sync when online), and document/photo uploads for verification.

Once submitted, the data will undergo verification and cross-validation at the district, state, and national levels, leading to a 5-star rating and recognition system for clean and green schools. The app not only streamlines participation in SHVR 2025 but also empowers schools to monitor their own eco-performance and strive towards sustainable improvement.
