InStock Kitchen helps you see what you have, what to use first, and what you can cook now. Add groceries with Photo Scan, barcode scanning, or manual entry. InStock organizes your inventory, estimates freshness, builds shopping lists, and matches your ingredients with more than 200 built-in recipes, including meals you can make now and meals that are one ingredient away.

USEFUL TECHNOLOGY, USED DELIBERATELY

Everyday tasks such as barcode handling, inventory, unit conversion, freshness estimates, shopping lists, and recipe matching use predictable app logic. InStock Kitchen Intelligence is reserved for jobs where recognition materially helps: identifying several groceries from photos and cleaning up recipes imported from a link, pasted text, or a photo. These recognition features use machine-learning models.

PRIVACY BY CHOICE AND BY DESIGN

- No account or sign-in. No ads. No cross-app tracking. No third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

- With Privacy Mode off, selected photos and recipe text for Photo Scan or recipe cleanup are sent over HTTPS to InStock's secure processing service.

- Routine processing uses a random identifier created for that installation to enforce limits and support reliability. It is not a hardware ID and is not tied to an account, Google Account, name, or email.

- We do not sell your content, use it for advertising, or use it to train models. Source photos are not kept as a lasting photo library.

- Turn on Privacy Mode to keep supported photo and recipe processing on this device, using an optional on-device model or built-in extraction.

- Inventory, recipes, and lists stay in app-private storage on your device.

- Sharing a recipe with a friend or submitting one to the InStock Kitchen team is a separate action. With Privacy Mode on, InStock asks before that recipe leaves your device. Team submissions are anonymous unless you separately choose to include your name and email.

Pro includes a daily allowance of three online Photo Scans and three online recipe imports. Optional consumable credit packs let you do more after either allowance is exhausted. Purchased credits do not expire.

DEVICE NOTES

Online Photo Scan works on supported Android phones and tablets. Privacy Mode and offline recognition use an optional on-device model and require more memory. Barcode scanning, manual inventory, recipe matching, Cook Mode, lists, and sharing work on supported Android devices. InStock checks your device before you spend anything and explains what is available.
