HOW IT WORKS

Every kanji is built, never crammed. You learn a handful of small parts first, and from then on new characters arrive as combinations of things you already know. A short story locks each one in place, and the stories are deliberately a little ridiculous, because ridiculous is what memory holds onto.

Reviews come back exactly when you are about to forget. That is the whole trick: a few minutes today instead of an hour of panic next month.
