DPF Companion

DPF Companion gives you real-time visibility into your diesel particulate filter — so you always know when a regen is coming, when it's happening, and when it's done.

Connect to your vehicle via a Bluetooth OBD-II dongle (Carista EVO recommended) and see live data on a circular dashboard designed for quick glances while driving.

What you can monitor:

Soot loading percentage and actual grams

Regen status with audio alerts when a regen starts, progresses, and completes Estimated time remaining until the next regen or until a current regen finishes DPF inlet and outlet exhaust temperatures

Oil temperature, coolant temperature, and engine RPM

Current speed with colour-coded gradient

Fuel consumption (L/100km or MPG)

Distance and time since last regen

Ash residue and odometer

Supported vehicles: Currently optimised for VAG diesel vehicles (Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, SEAT) with DPF systems from 2008 onwards. Other vehicles may work with limited functionality.

Requirements:

A Bluetooth ELM327-compatible OBD-II dongle (we recommend the Carista EVO)

The dongle must be plugged into your vehicle's OBD-II port

Phone should be kept on charge while using the app (screen stays on with active Bluetooth)
