With numerous simple leftover recipes and tips on how to use up food, the app helps you utilize your leftovers – without much effort or extra shopping. Saving food has never been easier!

What's special: The recipes were developed in collaboration with nutritionists and work with ingredients you already have at home or can easily substitute.

Whether it's leftover pasta, stale bread, or slightly overripe bananas: The "Too Good to Waste!" app has great recipe ideas for all these and other food scraps!

Here's how it works:

First, define your cooking and dietary preferences. Do you eat everything, or do you prefer vegetarian or gluten-free meals? Or would you like to try vegan cooking? No problem! The "Too Good to Waste!" app has something for everyone!

Then, simply enter up to three leftover ingredients you'd like to use into the search bar, and the app will suggest numerous recipes. With these recipes, you can creatively use your leftovers with just a few additional ingredients from your pantry or refrigerator. Thanks to our easy step-by-step instructions, even those with little cooking experience can get started right away and prepare a delicious meal in no time. The indicated preparation times allow you to accurately estimate the effort involved and thus optimally integrate the cooking into your daily routine.

Additional Features

For many recipes, we don't specify all the ingredients. Instead, you'll learn which vegetables you can substitute and how to replace missing ingredients with what you already have on hand. Be adventurous and adapt the recipes to suit your leftovers. The integrated portion calculator also helps you plan your portion sizes and avoid unnecessary waste. The app also includes many tips on the proper storage of food and how to make it last longer.

With the kitchen diary, you can also measure your food waste, reduce it intentionally, and track your progress. This not only protects the environment but also your wallet!
