UltraPod: Music Player

UltraPod is a music-first space for people who want their phone to feel quieter: a dedicated player, local tools, and fewer reasons to fall back into feeds.

Connect Apple Music through MusicKit to browse your authorised library, playlists, albums, recent items, and catalogue metadata. Manage playback and keep your queue within reach. Apple Music playback requires MusicKit authorisation and may require an active Apple Music subscription.

UltraPod also keeps everyday context local:

- Browse photos and videos from your photo library with on-device thumbnail caching.

- Take square photos with the built-in camera view.

- Record voice memos stored on your device.

- Write notes and read imported books.

- View contacts, calendar events, and reminders on device.

- Track workouts with HealthKit, motion data, and optional outdoor location.

The idea is simple: keep music and useful tools close without turning the app into another stream of recommendations, adverts, or social pressure. UltraPod has no proprietary account, no adverts, no third-party analytics, no IDFA access, and no tracking prompts. Protected data such as contacts, calendars, reminders, photos, voice memos, notes, books, fitness data, location, and Apple Music library metadata is processed on device unless you choose to use Apple services controlled by Apple.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. UltraPod uses background location only while an outdoor workout is actively being tracked, and stops location updates when the workout is paused or ended.
