Ura was founded by Maison Bear after his own struggles with addiction, anxiety, panic attacks, and recovery.

After becoming addicted to nicotine at a young age, Maison spent years trapped in a cycle of cravings, dependence, and trying to quit. Alongside addiction came periods of intense anxiety, panic attacks, overthinking, and emotional overwhelm that left him feeling stuck and convinced something was seriously wrong.

Like many people going through recovery, he spent months searching for answers, looking for something that could help in the moments when cravings hit, anxiety took over, or his mind began spiralling.

As he recovered, Maison realised that support is often needed most in the exact moment a craving, panic attack, or difficult emotion appears, not hours later.

That experience became the foundation for Ura.
