BLUR, PIXELATE OR BLACK OUT

Choose smooth blur, strong mosaic pixelation or solid blackout. Adjust blur or pixelation strength and preview the result before exporting. QR codes, barcodes and license plates can be strongly pixelated or completely covered so they are harder to scan or read.

For photos, add rectangles, move or resize redactions, brush over irregular areas and erase corrections. For videos, add masks and refine their position at exact frames.

ON-DEVICE PRIVACY

Analysis and editing happen on your device. PrivacyCam does not upload your media, detected text or private details to a developer-operated processing server. No account is required.

REMOVE EMBEDDED METADATA

PrivacyCam creates new exported copies without carrying over the original location metadata. Your original photo or video remains separate unless you remove it.

Face, person, license plate, text, QR code and barcode detection can miss private information or identify ordinary content incorrectly. Video tracking can briefly miss fast movement, partial faces, poor lighting, distant subjects or objects crossing a frame edge.
