TimeSteps

TimeSteps is one app with two faces:

For informal carers: share the care with family, friends, volunteers and healthcare professionals. With the shared agenda and to-do's you coordinate care and you no longer have to do it all alone.

For people with dementia: TimeSteps helps to maintain a sense of time and daily rhythm with a clock and agenda.

This app is ideal if you have a goal in the field of:

- Improving daily structure (better understanding of time, remembering appointments and performing general daily actions, such as taking medication, eating/drinking or other daily activities,

- Improving the deployment of the network of informal carers and the coordination of care, in order to better sustain informal care.

Special about the agenda:

- Add a reminder, which will be spoken aloud to the person with cognitive disabilities.

- Add a photo to the appointment.

- The time in words.

- Add a Team member who must be present at the appointment.

- Determine whether or not the appointment is visible to the person with cognitive problems.

Add team members with a role and corresponding permissions. Some team members are allowed to see and change everything, other team members you only want to show availability. Keep control over private appointments.

Distribute to-do's within the Team to informal carers, family, volunteers and healthcare professionals. Together you stand strong and keep it up better.

TimeSteps is being developed with the help of the target group, occupational therapists, case managers and informal carers. In addition, TimeSteps is involved in a number of national and international investigations. Together with input from universities and Alzheimer Nederland, TimeSteps is being further developed with the aim of living as good and meaningful a life as possible, despite dementia.
