odGłos

odGłos is an application that supports communication for stroke survivors with aphasia. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. For any questions regarding diagnosis, therapy, or treatment, always consult a doctor, speech therapist, or other qualified professional.

WHAT IS odGłos?

Post-stroke aphasia makes it difficult to express thoughts verbally, but it does not eliminate the need to communicate with loved ones. odGłos helps express basic needs, conduct simple conversations, and practice pronunciation without having to write or search for words from scratch.

The application works completely offline. All data remains on the device.

THREE MODULES

Messages

Individual words grouped thematically (food, body, emotions, activities, people, places, time, and more), displayed as large, clear tiles. Each category is colored, making it easy to recognize at a glance without reading the name. One tap plays the word aloud.

Basic Phrases

Ready-made, complete sentences for the most common everyday situations: from basic needs to health questions to situations requiring a quick response from those around you.

Learning

Pronunciation exercises with instant feedback. The app listens to the word on demand (useful for reading difficulties), then listens to your speech through the microphone and compares it with the expected one, displaying a clear match result.

ACCESSIBILITY FIRST

Large, easy-to-read tiles and buttons, adapted for people with limited mobility. Adjustable text size and speech rate and volume. Five display modes to choose from, including a high-contrast mode that meets accessibility guidelines for the visually impaired. Simple, predictable navigation without unnecessary steps. Listen to each word and phrase aloud.

FOR CAREGIVERS AND THERAPISTS

The content management panel allows you to add custom categories and words tailored to a specific person (e.g., names of loved ones, places), change the display order, and personalize icons and colors. Progress history and usage statistics help you track your exercise progress and daily app usage, with the option to export to PDF, for example, for a speech therapist appointment.

PRIVACY

All data (dictionary, exercise history, statistics) is stored exclusively locally on your device. The app contains no ads or tracking tools.

The app offers optional extended features, described directly in the app.
