🛡️ VPN Protection

VPN is a blocking feature of Stopou. The app uses Android's VpnService to create a DNS filtering VPN, necessary to identify and block betting domains on the device.

When activated, queried domain names are sent encrypted, via DNS-over-HTTPS, to the Stopou server, which applies the blocking policy and resolves allowed domains.

Only DNS queries pass through the VPN. The rest of the traffic uses the device's normal connection. Stopou does not forward or read pages, messages, passwords, photos, or files.

Query data is not sold or shared with advertisers and is not used for advertising or monetization. The VPN does not change your location. Activation is optional and only occurs after a detailed explanation, your consent, and native Android authorization.
